The Graduate School of Education, Rutgers University invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the Social Studies program during the 2018-2019 academic year (September 4, 2018 through January 2, 2019 for the Fall Semester) and (January 22, 2019 through May 17, 2019 for the Spring Semester).
Successful Applicants will instruct undergraduate or graduate level courses in the field of social studies education, such as civic education, methods, curriculum analysis, global education, and human rights education.
Courses will be offered in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings, including hybrid and online formats. Course appointments are in the New Brunswick area, as well as, hybrid/online format.
Minimum Education and Experience
Applicants with other degrees from an accredited institution will be considered. Some prior teaching experience is also preferred.

Applications received by June 30 will be considered for both Fall and Spring Semesters, applications received after June 30 will be considered for spring only.
Instructors are expected to attend orientation, submit syllabus, respond to student emails and submit grades as per contract.
