Job description

Princeton University seeks a distinguished full or associate professor to provide leadership in the areas of sustainable energy technology development in the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment (acee.princeton.edu). Candidates from all disciplines in engineering and the sciences are welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will be jointly appointed between the Andlinger Center and an academic department consistent with the candidate’s expertise. Specific research areas of interest include: long-term energy storage, smart and resilient cities, and energy-water nexus, with an emphasis on systems-level expertise.

Princeton and the Andlinger Center are especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of our academic community.

The University Center for Human Values was established in 1990 by an interdisciplinary faculty group led by founding director Amy Gutmann, at the time professor of politics at Princeton and now president of the University of Pennsylvania. The aim was to deepen and enhance collaboration at Princeton among scholars across the disciplines with a shared commitment to research and teaching about values in public and private life.
