Job description

The Biology Department at Dickinson College seeks a cell and molecular biologist to fill a full-time, one-year visiting professor position with teaching to begin fall 2018. Teaching responsibilities will include an introductory biology course with laboratory (Molecules, genes, and cells), and a sophomore-level course in genetics with laboratory. Opportunities for student-faculty research are available. Ideally, the successful candidate will complete their Ph.D. by fall 2018. The ability to create inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful candidate.
