Job description

The Department of Economics and Finance is looking to hire a visiting scholar to teach courses in economics for the 2018-2019 academic school year. Contract begins August 16, 2018.

There is a option to make this a permanent position the following academic year.

General Duties & ResponsibilitiesTeach undergraduate business courses that meet general education requirements. Of primary need are the courses: Economics of US History, Principles of Microeconomics, and Principles of Macroeconomics.

Required Qualifications1. Master’s degree or higher in Economics or related field

2. Ability to provide an excellent educational experience for students

3. Willingness to adhere to university policy

Preferred QualificationsRelevant teaching experience at the university level

Salary or Salary Range: Contingent upon education and experience; excellent benefits.
