Position: Assistant Chief of School Leadership Organization: Quinnite Schools Network (QSN)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer, Quinnite Schools Network (QSN)
Location: Paul Quinn at Crowley ISD
Employment Type: Full-time
Overview: The Assistant Chief of School Leadership reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the network’s campuses, including personnel management, supervision of campus leadership, and strategic decision-making to ensure the success of QSN schools. The Assistant Chief will work closely with the CEO as a thought partner, providing critical insight and weekly updates into school operations, compliance, instructional excellence, sustainability and demonstrate flexibility.
This role requires a high-energy, intelligent, and collaborative leader who can manage school leadership, execute strategic initiatives, and drive long-term sustainability in areas such as facilities, technology, and compliance. The Assistant Chief will also play a key role in staffing, policy development, instructional leadership, and student achievement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lever I: Administrator Capacity
Operational Leadership & Strategic Management
○ Lead day-to-day operations across the network, ensuring efficient and effective campus leadership.
○ Manage major campus-level decisions regarding the authorizing partnership.
○ Serve as a thought partner to the CEO, providing key insights into operations and strategy.
○ Identify campus needs, ensure resource allocation, and manage those resources effectively.
○ Develop and implement long-term sustainability strategies for leadership, facilities, technology, and compliance.
○ Collaborate with the CEO on internal organizational processes and network infrastructure.
○ Recommend policy changes and updates for consideration.
○ Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and operational standards.
Lever II: Teacher Capacity
Personnel & Campus Leadership Development
○ Serves as a conduit to recruit hire, and manage campus-level leadership to ensure excellence in administration and student achievement.
○ Develop and recommend staffing levels and operational procedures to the CEO.
○ Provide principals and teachers with strategic designs to build leadership capacity.
2. Instructional Leadership & Academic Excellence
○ Implement and oversee CCMR (College, Career, and Military Readiness) initiatives.
○ Lead efforts to ensure high-capacity instruction, including Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
○ Implement the instructional model and framework of the authorizing partnership.
○ Oversee the administration of legal and ethical policies at the campus level.
Lever III: Relationships and Culture
Student Achievement & School Improvement
Ensure the implementation of the 7 Essential Elements of Improvement:
■ Aligned Curriculum System – Ensure curriculum is structured for student success.
■ Professional Learning System – Foster a culture of ongoing professional growth.
■ Comprehensive Assessment System – Develop and oversee effective student assessment strategies.
■ Student Growth System – Implement strategies to track and enhance student performance.
■ CCMR & Workforce System – Align academic programs with career readiness and workforce demands.
■ Student Management System – Support strong student behavior and engagement frameworks.
■ Strategic Leadership System – Build leadership capacity at all levels through collaboration and accountability.
2. Collaboration with Stakeholders
Collaborate and support the implementation of QSN parental engagement initiatives.
Ensure resources and strategies align with community and organizational needs.
Other Duties as Assigned
● Assist the CEO and leadership team with special projects, initiatives, and emerging priorities.
● Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the mission and vision of QSN.
Qualifications & Experience:
● Doctorate degree preferred in education administration, organizational leadership, or a related field.
● 7+ years of leadership experience in education, school operations, or strategic management.
● Proven ability to manage school operations, staffing, and compliance in a dynamic environment.
● Strong background in instructional leadership, curriculum development, and assessment systems.
● Experience implementing CCMR initiatives and workforce readiness programs.
● Ability to develop data-driven strategies to drive student success and school improvement.
● High-energy, collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
● Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
