Job Summary:
The Department of Undergraduate Business Programs is seeking an affiliate faculty member for the Fall 2023 semester to teach primarily campus-based finance courses to traditional undergraduates and online courses to post-traditional students as needed.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate(s) will teach BA4100 Business Finance and/or upper division corporate finance courses to traditional undergraduate students on campus.

The affiliate faculty member will be responsible for preparation, teaching and keeping one hour per week dedicated for office hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Finance or a master’s degree in a related field and 18 graduate semester hours in finance.

Finance certification (e.g., CFA) plus minimum of 3 years professional experience in finance may be substituted for graduate-level course work.

Preferred Qualifications: Professional experience in banking, corporate finance, or financial markets desirable. Experience teaching traditional undergraduate students is a plus.

Work Schedule: Classes meet twice a week for 70 minutes. Courses run for one semester and are typically scheduled between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (ending by 4:45 p.m.).

Pay Rate: $3,225 per 3-credit hour class

Benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
