All About You

The Saint Louis University School of Law seeks applicants for the role of Assistant Dean for Teaching and Learning. The position is a non-tenure track faculty appointment in the School of Law, rank dependent on experience. The position will be housed in our Academic Resource Center and will co-direct our academic success and bar passage initiatives. The position is for a 12-month appointment with no publication requirement. The Assistant Dean will have faculty status and voting rights.*

The Assistant Dean will be a resource to SLU Law faculty in the areas of teaching and learning. The successful candidate will manage a comprehensive academic success program for law students that includes a bar prep curriculum, work collaboratively with other academic support faculty, and teach courses as assigned. The ideal candidate will have prior teaching and leadership experience in an academic success program and is informed about developments related to the NextGen bar exam. Data collection and assessment outcome reporting skills are also highly desirable.
