Position Summary: The School of Management and Marketing at Southern Illinois University Carbondale invites qualified individuals to apply for an anticipated teaching position in the Management program to begin in Fall 2023. This is an Assistant Lecturer position, which is a term appointment (50%) that does not lead to tenure and requires the ability to teach various courses in Management.
Duties and Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate level Management courses including:
- Introduction to Management
- Small Business Management
- Entrepreneurship
- Leadership and Managerial Behavior
- Human Resources Management
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Master’s or Ph.D. in some subject area of Business
- Four semesters university level teaching experience
- Evidence of teaching in at least two of the above subject areas

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants who have some experience in supply chain management and at least three years’ experience in mid to upper-level management positions.
