Caldwell University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Human Resource Management. This is a full time, tenure-track appointment, beginning in fall 2020. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses (both on-campus and on-line) in human resources and management fields as well as other areas of business. Additional responsibilities include student advisement, participation in committee work, college and community service, and involvement in program coordination, curriculum development, assessment, accreditation, and experiential learning. Applications are invited from candidates who have broad training as a teacher-scholar, who possess a forward-looking educational vision in the area of human resources and management, and who can demonstrate wide-ranging teaching interests.

Candidates must possess a doctorate in human resource management, organizational behavior, management, or leadership. Candidates with an earned doctorate in another field who additionally have an exceptionally strong background in human resource management also will be considered. Professional experience in human resources is highly desirable. Teaching experience at the college level is required and experience with teaching in an online environment is highly desirable. The successful applicant will demonstrate a teaching philosophy that is effective for all learners, including first-generation college students and is reflective of the cultural diversity of our students. The successful candidate will bring experience and interest in participating in research with undergraduate and/or graduate students. Candidates must be willing to support the Dominican Catholic, liberal arts mission of the University.
