Position Description

The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Louisville is seeking applicants for Clinical Assistant Professor positions in Louisville, KY. Duties include teaching Hematology/Oncology fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students; participating in clinical service, clinical trials, and basic science research. Will provide care for patients with hematologic and oncologic disease and provide primary care to the patients during diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.  Duties include on-call coverage and service rotation at the University of Louisville Health hospitals. Will work at the University of Louisville Medical Center, the Louisville VA Medical Center, and the University of Louisville’s affiliated hospitals and clinics in Louisville, KY.

One of the positions will be responsible for development and contribution to the respective Multi-disciplinary Cancer Programs and the design and development of clinical trials and translational research. Both positions require Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Medical Oncology and Hematology and must have or be able to obtain Kentucky Medical License.
