Job description

The Mitch Daniels School of Business (https://business.purdue.edu/home.php) at Purdue University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Management in Human Resource Management or Organizational Behavior position. This position is expected to begin August 2025.

Qualifications include:

  • A PhD in Human Resource Management (HR), Organizational Behavior (OB), Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field completed by the start of the appointment
  • Candidates must provide documentation of teaching success in OB or HR, such as past teaching reviews or awards
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading an academic program

We will begin reviewing applications on December 15, 2024 and will continue until the position is filled. The successful candidate will be expected to teach HR or OB courses in our undergraduate and/or graduate programs, perform school service which may include directing an academic program, and participate in other school activities as assigned.

Although we are open to broad teaching and research interests in OB and HR, candidates interested in teaching HR Analytics/AI, Compensation, and/or Teams topics are especially encouraged to apply.
