Job description
The Department of Psychology at Illinois College invites applications for two full-time positions in Psychology to begin August 2023.
The new professor(s) will teach courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum. Areas of particular need include: Intro to Neuroscience, Research Methods, Health Psychology, Sensory and Motor Systems, and Intro to Psychology. Candidates with the ability to teach in any of these areas and who have a passion for undergraduate teaching are strongly encouraged to apply.
Interest in faculty-student research is a plus; demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential.
While most teaching is on campus, preference for candidates with experience teaching online. Doctorate preferred; ABD or significant progress toward a doctorate considered.

The College is located in historic Jacksonville, Illinois, 30 miles west of the capital city of Springfield and 70 miles north of St. Louis, Missouri.
