Job description

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology invites applications for an Instructor, Lecturer, or Senior Lecturer of Psychology with an anticipated start date of August 2023. This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited position. The position may continue semester-by-semester, dependent upon performance, department need, funding, and student enrollment.

An earned Master’s or PhD in Psychology or a closely related field is required. Successful candidates will be expected to teach one or more undergraduate courses, which may include the following: General Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Human Development, and other courses depending on the candidate’s expertise and needs of the department.
