MVCC is seeking to fill a full-time, ten-month Instructor position in our School of Health Sciences. The Instructor will teach in an Accreditation Commission for Education Nursing (ACEN)-accredited, Associate degree nursing program. Teaching responsibilities includes lecture, lab and clinical assignments offered during the day, evening or weekend on the Utica campus with travel to off-campus clinical sites. Additionally, the position includes student advisement and committee responsibilities as well as curriculum development and program assessment activities.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure in New York State
  • Master’s degree in Nursing at the time of appointment (or completion within 1 year)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Flexibility in schedule and a willingness to work and contribute collaboratively
