Position Overview

The School of Agriculture and Environment, Massey University, is seeking applicants to apply for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Farm Management.

This position will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to contribute to enhancing the primary sector in Aotearoa New Zealand by enhancing and developing Farm Management capability and capacity through undergraduate and postgraduate education, research and industry engagement.

About you | Ko koe tēnei

A relevant PhD or other postgraduate qualification is required with the ability to teach in the outlined areas is essential.  The successful applicant must have a strong knowledge of Farm Management, with experience in the New Zealand and global context and experience in NZ primary production systems.  You will also need to have an excellent research, analysis, and dissemination background, with experience in applied research techniques and skills and in writing scientific papers, research grants, and contracts.   A practical understanding of working within a research/extension/teaching environment is important.
