We are seeking undergraduate level instructors to teach: Graphics Game Engine
GAM-415 Graphics Game Engine
Students get an introduction to advanced graphics topics including skeletal animation, ray tracing, particle integration, lighting, shades and materials. Projects are introduced to implement these important visual effects. The knowledge obtained will be assimilated and applied to a wide range of usages and application. Linear Algebra algorithms will be refreshed and/or introduced specific to the topic at hand. Students will learn the basics of Direct X, Open GL, and Rendering solutions (forward and deferred).
- Master’s Degree in IT or a closely related field
- Teaching experience at the college level
- Experience as a programmer with strong object-oriented experience
- C++ programming experience
- Unreal game engine experience preferred
Instructors must be willing to provide a high level of student outreach and have the availability to connect with students, academic advisors and team leads on a frequent basis. Instructors in this course must also be engaging, offering an increased and innovative presence in the online classroom to best serve the student and facilitate student success. Instructors should expect to provide substantial student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades.
