The Department of Chemistry/Geology/Physics at Ashland University ( invites applications for a full-time Professional Instructor of Geology position beginning August 2021. This is a non-tenure track position reporting directly to the Department Chair.

Position Summary:While the preferred area of expertise is open, the ability to teach and develop undergraduate mineralogy and environmental geochemistry is required. The teaching load is twelve hours per semester and will include classes and laboratories for non-science majors and majors within education and environmental science.

Position Requirements:Graduate degree is required. The candidate should have experience in teaching undergraduates.
