Description:
The ideal candidate is an experienced nurse executive who has made significant contributions to nursing executive practice. As a full-time faculty member, the candidate would join an exemplary group of industry-leading faculty who share a singular focus on preparing current and future nurse leaders in a 100% online, 36 credit-hour graduate program. The faculty role has primary professional responsibilities for teaching, scholarship, and service to the LHSON, ENL profession, and community.
The position is a full-time faculty role with potential for an appointment to program coordinator with leadership responsibilities for the ENL program and faculty.
- Teach courses on a 12-month trimester program schedule
- Support student learning and development through coaching and mentoring
- Provide timely and specific student feedback according to department guidelines
- Contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of the programs including planning and evaluating specific course offerings
- Participate online course development and maintenance of program curricula
- Support online program development in recruitment, marketing, enrollment, and student advising efforts
Stay current on evidence and trends related to executive practice and healthcare organizations, participate in virtual and in-person campus and college events and be willing to travel to Baylor’s Dallas campus up to four times per year, or as requested for essential events

Qualifications:
Practice or research doctorate (or significant progress toward a terminal degree) is required for Clinical Track appointments. Clinical specialty at a masters or doctoral level is required.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas
- Earned doctorate in related field
- A minimum of 5 years of prior executive experience
- Experience delivering training and development within an institution or healthcare system
- Previous teaching experience in a graduate-level program, online preferred
