The Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance seeks part-time lead and assistant squash instructors for Camp Terrier (ages 9-13) and the Adult Recreational Squash program. Responsibilities include designing progressive lessons for beginning through intermediate students, teaching skills and game strategy, providing drills and game play, building a love of the sport, and working in close communication with other instructors

Schedule:

  • Camp Terrier: Weekdays: 1-3:30pm from July 10 through August 4
  • Adult Recreational Squash Program: Weekday evenings from June through mid-August.

Required Skills

  • 1 year of squash teaching experience
  • Competitive experience at a high school level or above
  • Ability to teach up to an intermediate level as demonstrated in a tryout
