About This Role:
We are excited to announce up to 3 available positions as Teaching Assistant Professors in Psychological Sciences beginning August 7, 2023. The Department of Psychological Sciences at Kansas State University seeks to fill multiple nine-month, non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor faculty positions. The focus of these positions will be to deliver high-quality, undergraduate courses that support the department. The successful candidates will be able to teach a range of psychology courses that includes basic service and selected topical courses in social, cognitive, and clinical psychology.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in psychology or closely related field. ABDs with evidence of substantial progress towards completion will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Evidence of teaching excellence
  • Interest in and ability to conduct research, including potential to involve students in research.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
$40,000 – $55,000 / 9 month contract
