The Department of Mathematics and Data Science invites applications for a Temporary Full Time Lecturer of Mathematics. This is an academic year (10-month) appointment with the possibility of renewal. The appointment is expected to begin August 1, 2021. This position will be based at our Camden Center with some teaching required at our Brunswick campus and/or online.
Job duties include teaching lower-level mathematics courses; participation in departmental and college committees; and teaching both day and evening classes as needed at our Camden Center, on our Brunswick campus, or online.
Minimum Qualifications and Training
A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field (with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics) at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications and Training
Experience teaching mathematics at the post-secondary level in both face-to-face and online formats.
