The Mississippi University for Women Department of Psychology and Family Studies invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology or Family Studies for the 2019-2020 academic year. Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in psychology or family studies as well as experience teaching undergraduate courses in the classroom and online.

Primary responsibility is teaching four undergraduate courses each regular semester. Course assignments depend upon expertise but may include any of the following: Human Sexuality, General Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Personality, Social Psychology, History and Systems of Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Psychology of Criminal Behavior, Families and Public Policy, Women’s Experiences in Family Life, Program Planning and Evaluation, Professional Issues in Family Studies, and introductory statistics and research methods.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in psychology or family studies. ABDs will be considered.
