The School of Humanities seeks to hire a Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of English for the Fall 2021 semester only. The candidate will teach four sections of undergraduate English classes in a mix of online and face to face formats.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach four undergraduate English courses according to program needs.
- Perform all duties related to successful teaching, including holding office hours, returning graded work on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate must have a Masters degree in English with prior teaching experience at the university level to be hired as a Visiting Instructor.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Candidate should have prior experience using Canvas, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and have a strong familiarity with teaching technologies.
