Job description

The College of Professional Sciences at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio invites applicants with expertise in leadership and organizational studies to fill a tenure-track, assistant/associate professor position in its Educational Administration Program housed in the School of Education. The position begins in Fall 2018.

Qualified candidates must possess a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Educational Administration or related discipline from. Competitive applicants will be prepared to assume responsibility teaching in a variety of educational administration courses in the MEd and principal/specialist/superintendent licensure programs. Teaching cognate courses in the Ed.D. in Leadership Studies program is also a possibility. Preference will be given to applicants with University teaching experience, experience supervising and/or advising graduate students, program development, accreditation, and committee work. The successful candidate will be expected maintain an active research and publication agenda, participate in School and Program functions, engage in university and community service, and contribute to a culture of collaboration among colleagues and students.
