To teach college-level Physics lecture and lab coursesDuties and Responsibilities

  • To teach college-level Physics lecture and lab courses at multi campus locations.
  • Engage in high-quality instruction in a diverse, inclusive and student-centered environment, and the ability to work with students with various learning styles, cultures, identities, and life experiences.
  • Use technology to enhance instruction and communicate effectively with the campus community. – Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of a comprehensive community college.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in Physics or related field is required.
  • Teaching experience at college/community college level preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues.

Shift, Days, and Additional Work Schedule Information: Up to 8.5 hours of in-class time/week

Desired Start Date: Spring 2023 and/or Fall 2023
