Board-certified in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.

Job Summary

This Division Chief position is needed in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Developmental
Pediatrics in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the Division, Department, and College in
education, service, and research consistent with the mission of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

As Chief of the Division of Developmental Pediatrics, you will be responsible for developing an expanded program which will include increased clinic availability, expanded faculty and staff, development of Developmental Pediatrics research opportunities, and teaching of medical learners.

This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption.
