Viterbo University, an independent, liberal arts institution in the Catholic tradition located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, seeks a dynamic and strategic leader for the next Dean of the College of Business, Leadership and Ethics (CBLE). The position is available beginning July 1, 2021.
Viterbo University was founded in 1890 as St. Rose Normal School by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration to prepare Sisters to teach in elementary schools. The next Dean of the College of Business, Leadership, and Ethics will be a strategic and entrepreneurial leader able to advance innovation while embracing the rich heritage and values of the institution. The College seeks a leader who possesses the academic, financial, and strategic acumen to offer strong, collaborative, and transparent leadership within the community. The Dean will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision for the College and must be committed to expanding support for the College and its program in the local community. The Dean will also work, in partnership with the Vice President for Academics, to lead the College’s efforts to achieve a new level of academic excellence. The incumbent must be a person of entrepreneurial spirit and innovative style who will also be expected to work with the advancement office to expand fundraising, partnerships and community relations to support both CBLE and the institution.
