The Department of Chemistry at Elon University invites applications for two (2) Limited Term Instructors (one-year, full-time) for the 2023-2024 academic year. Preference for one position will be given to applicants with a doctorate degree (or ABD) in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related ﬁeld. Preference for the other position will be given to applicants with a doctorate degree (or ABD) in any ﬁeld of chemistry. Applicants for both positions must be capable of teaching courses in General Chemistry. In addition, labs in Analytical Chemistry/Quantitative Analysis, General Chemistry, and/or Organic Chemistry—depending on applicant background— will constitute part of the teaching load. Applicants should expect to teach some combination of courses and labs each semester.
