Job Summary/Basic Functions

Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky is seeking tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish in the College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences. This full-time, permanent position that will focus on cross-cultural studies, Spanish-teaching methodology, and community engagement. This position will be expected to teach a 4/4 teaching load and teach all levels of undergraduate Spanish language, culture, and literature. Additionally, they will be expected to participate in promoting the Spanish program, various departmental, and student engagement activities.

This position requires a Ph.D. in Spanish or a related field from an accredited institution. Spanish language fluency is required. Offers of employment are contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
