Job Description:
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) in the College of Engineering at The University of Toledo invites applications for a full-time Lecturer (Open Rank) position in Electrical Engineering. This is a bargaining unit faculty appointment beginning in Spring 2026 or Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to provide high-quality instruction. Candidates are sought with broad expertise and interest in teaching Electrical Engineering courses at undergraduate and/or graduate levels.The successful candidate will be expected to (i) teach effectively at the undergraduate level; (ii) enthusiastically engage in curriculum development as well as instructional lab enhancement; (iii) guide senior design teams; and (iv) participate in service activities. It is possible that the candidate will collaborate with EECS faculty on scholarly research.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is required at the time of employment.
