Job Description:

The Lansing School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences at Bellarmine University invites applications for a 12-month term appointment as Director of Clinical Education, Respiratory Therapy Program. The position is available beginning as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include oversight of both graduate and undergraduate respiratory therapy clinical experiences. In addition, responsibilities include classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical teaching. Teaching responsibilities includes all areas related to respiratory therapy. This is an instructor-level position.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential
  • Current state license
  • Four years’ experience as a RRT with at least two in clinical respiratory care
  • Two years’ experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor.
  • Completion of CoARC’s Key Personnel Academy (which can be completed in first year of hire)

Additional Information:

The Lansing School of Nursing and Clinical Science offers a bachelor’s of health science and master’s of science in respiratory therapy.
