- Candidates with PhDs (or similar terminal degree) will be considered for an appointment at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure track).
Description:
The Heider College of Business at Creighton University invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in economics. Creighton University, located in Omaha, Nebraska, is a private Jesuit, Catholic university that encourages applications from qualified individuals of all backgrounds who believe they can contribute to the distinctive educational traditions and mission of the University.
The College seeks a faculty member committed to excellence in teaching and pedagogical practices. The candidate will teach undergraduate economics principles classes, with potential to teach higher-level economics elective courses, for the Department of Economics and Finance. The teaching load is eight classes per academic year. The candidate will also be expected to provide academic advising for students, as well as service to the College, University, and business community. Candidates with a combination of academic qualifications and relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
The Heider College of Business is accredited by the AACSB with an enrollment of approximately 1300 undergraduate and 400 graduate students. Approximately 70 full-time faculty members, complemented by part-time professors, serve our students. Degrees awarded include the BSBA, MBA, and several specialized masters degrees.
