Position Summary
The Vera Z. Dwyer School of Health Sciences at Indiana University South Bend invites applications for a full-time, 10-month, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Division of Medical Laboratory Science. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to join our program at a pivotal time of growth and innovation. The successful candidate will play a key role in educating the next generation of laboratory professionals and will be integral to the development of new programmatic initiatives. This position involves teaching didactic and laboratory courses, contributing to curriculum development, participating in student recruitment and advising, and engaging in service to the program, school, and community. Appointment/Start Date: January 1, 2026.

Basic Qualifications
Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • ASCP certification (or equivalent) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
  • Instructor or clinical educator experience

Preferred Basic Qualifications:

  • Priority will be given to candidates who possess a doctorate degree
  • Previous teaching experience with demonstrated commitment to a learner-centered and inclusive classroom culture
  • Interprofessional education (IPE) experience
