Saint Francis University invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time faculty position to teach in the university’s Department of Nursing BSN Program. Full time faculty responsibilities include undergraduate theory and clinical and obstetrical theory and clinical experience. In addition, the incumbent will participate in the University’s General education program, advise students, maintain scholarship and service activities, and assist in maintenance of CCNE accreditation status and State Board of Nursing compliance.

Requirements include a master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution (doctoral degree preferred, or a specific plan to complete one within 4 years of appointment); Unencumbered current licensure in PA as a registered nurse, or eligible for licensure in PA; strong background and experience in acute medical/surgical nursing, and obstetrical and pediatric clinical nursing experience preferred; One year of recent clinical experience; proven track record of undergraduate teaching and curricular experience; excellent oral and written communication skills. Faculty rank contingent upon qualification and teaching experience.
