The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) Department of Exercise & Sport Science invites applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Professor of Exercise Science.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An earned doctorate in Exercise Science or a Health-related field; a strong record of teaching, research, scholarship, and service.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Professor is responsible for teaching, research, and service. The department is looking for candidates who have a background in exercise physiology, research methods and evaluations. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong research background and experience with instruction in research methods. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The position is tenure track and a nine-month appointment. This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Additionally, candidates will be expected to actively participate in scholarship and provide service to the department, college, and university.
