Wiley University is currently seeking an AVP, Chief of People and Culture. As the AVP, Chief of People and Culture, you will lead the strategy for people and culture. The ideal candidate will oversee HR operations while championing belonging across the university. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a history of fostering a family-friendly work environment.Key Responsibilities include:- Developing and executing a comprehensive People & Culture strategy- Overseeing HR operations- Designing competency-based performance and management plans- Managing employee relations and resolution processes- Building an employer brand that communicates Wiley’s values and opportunities

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s degree preferred in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)- 7–10+ years in HR/People and Culture leadership, preferably in higher education or mission-driven organizations- Proven knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices- Demonstrated success in culture transformation and employee development- Strong communication, collaboration, and change-management skills- Ability to operate with integrity in a faith-informed, community-centered environmentWhat We Offer:- Competitive salary range: $75,000–$95,000- No state income tax- Comprehensive medical and dental benefits- Generous paid time off and leave benefits- Opportunities to shape a historic institution and positively impact students, families, and the broader community
