SALARY: $47,550 – BACHELOR’S DEGREE
$51,250 – MASTER’S DEGREE
$55,800 – DOCTORATE DEGREE
New faculty may receive up a 20% increase above the minimum base salary to recognize direct, job-related college teaching or other professional experience and/or extenuating labor market conditions, if requested by the recommending administrator and verified by Human Resources as justified.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Provides instruction in the teaching of a specific subject or field of knowledge and guides student study and learning in that subject field. To learn more about this position please visit the FSCJ website.
This Faculty position is a 180-day contract. For information regarding Faculty 180 Day Contracts, please visit our FSCJ Collective Bargaining Agreement by visiting the FSCJ website. Please refer to page 42.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
At a minimum, the selected candidate must have the following:
Reading – Credit
Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying disciplines. Must include at least 9 graduate semester hours of Reading specific coursework.
Reading- Developmental
Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying disciplines. Must include at least 9 graduate semester hours of Reading specific coursework.
OR Bachelor’s degree with state reading certification.
Qualifying Disciplines: Reading, Reading Assessment, Reading in Content Areas, Theory and Research of Reading, Exceptional Education.
