The School of Business, Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock) invites applications for the position of Instructor of Real Estate Finance (P00001118/ R0082391). This is a 9-month non-tenure track faculty position to begin August 16, 2026.

The Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance faculty share a collegial atmosphere and are dedicated to student success. The Instructor of Real Estate Finance is responsible for teaching upper-level undergraduate and graduate Real Estate courses, coordinating the Finance major real estate program, providing service to the department, school, college, and university as well as outreach and service to the business community. This position is governed by state and federal laws as well as agency and institution policy.
Required Education and or Experience:
- MBA or related degree;
- Relevant professional license(s) and certification(s);
- Sufficient industry experience to satisfy business accreditation requirements for qualification.
Preferred Education and or Experience:
- Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree from an AACSB-accredited school.
- Post-secondary teaching experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach upper-level undergraduate and MBA Real Estate courses;
- Interact regularly with the real estate business community – real estate firms, developers, financial institutions, and government agencies;
- Promote, enhance, and grow the program, interacting with students and stakeholders;
- Use partnerships with the real estate community to build continuing education and workshop opportunities tailored to market demand;
- Mentor and guide students in both academic and career development;
- Serve on University, College, School, and Department committees;
- Other duties as assigned.
