The E. Craig Wall Senior College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the assistant/associate professor level in the in the Department of Management and Decision Sciences beginning Fall 2025.

To be considered, candidates should have a terminal degree (Ph.D. or D.B.A.) in management or a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution, with an interest or focus in entrepreneurship. Applicants who are ABD candidates with a clear plan for degree completion by December 31, 2025 will also be considered. A candidate with a completed Ph.D./D.B.A. must have a recent and consistent record of publication in quality refereed journals.

This position will have responsibilities in teaching, research, and service. The teaching load is typically 3 courses per semester; courses may be at the undergraduate or graduate level, and may include face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online delivery methods. While the primary teaching areas will be in Entrepreneurship, candidates who can also teach macro-level areas of management, including surveys of business and management are preferred.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to engage in research and scholarship resulting in quality publications. The position also requires service activities, including undergraduate student advising, contributing to assessment of student learning outcomes, and other service to the college, university, community, and profession. It is expected the individual chosen for this position will possess a commitment to teaching excellence, demonstrated ability or capacity to produce quality scholarly academic research, a commitment to involvement in service to the university and the profession, excellent communication skills, and effective teamwork skills.
