The Department of Cultural and Religious Studies comprises of 3 units: cultural studies, religious studies and theology. The Department invites applications for a Lecturer position, with focus on Arts and Cultural Management. This position belongs to cultural studies primarily.

Applicants should have (i) relevant Master’s degree plus at least four years’ post-Master degree experience in the arts OR a relevant doctoral degree; and (ii) teaching or tutoring experience in the field of arts and cultural management, arts marketing, as well as festivals and events management. Duties include (i) teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses; (ii) coordinating internships; and (iii) providing service to the department and faculty. Knowledge of performing arts development in Hong Kong and the region will be an added advantage.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing August 2025, renewable subject to budget, performance and mutual agreement.
