St. Francis College is seeking highly motivated professors and scholars who will work with a diverse faculty and student body to teach courses in a variety of modalities. An ideal candidate will be broadly trained in the field of Biology and should have the ability and willingness to teach a broad array of courses within the field; expertise in teaching genetics, ecology, microbiology or immunology lecture and lab courses are preferred. A successful candidate is also expected to teach advanced Biology courses in their area of expertise. Commensurate with a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level, the successful candidate will also be expected to conduct research, mentor students, and participate in College-wide and departmental service. In addition, St. Francis College places special emphasis on providing students with research and internship opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. degree in Biology or closely related field

Demonstrated understanding of uses of technology for multimodal learning

Culturally sensitive, caring and friendly with a deep understanding and appreciation of an inclusive college community and the Franciscan traditions of St. Francis College.

Ability to work with a diverse student and staff population

Position Summary: We are seeking highly motivated adjunct professors of Anatomy and Physiology.
Candidates should have the ability and willingness to teach Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2.

Pay Range: $1,525 per credit- $1,625 per credit
The advertised pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum salary range for this role. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to; the candidate’s experience, education, credentials and/or qualifications.
