Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Health & Human Sciences invites applications for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor for our Master’s in Social Work program beginning in August 2025.

This position will teach clinical courses in the MSW program focusing on the theoretical foundation and the application of clinical interventions for diverse client populations. The courses include advanced practice courses with specialized content for children, youth, and adults. Duties also include advising and administrative tasks. Undergraduate level Social Work courses may also be taught if needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MSW from an accredited university
  • DSW, or PhD in a related field, from an accredited university
  • LCSW license
  • Two years clinical social work experience as a LCSW

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

BACS license
