Felician University is offering a variety of exciting opportunities for passionate and experienced educators to join our growing team of Adjunct Faculty in the School of Business and Information Sciences for the 2024-2025 academic year. Our faculty adjuncts help to shape the minds of tomorrow’s leaders and support and promote the next generation of tech-savvy professionals through mentoring students in dynamic Master’s-level courses grounded in real-world applications, delivering engaging instructions using best practices in higher education and areas of expertise, and collaborating with our dedicated full-time faculty to foster a supportive learning environment.

Opportunities are available in three areas of academic studies:

  • Computer Science
  • Data Science
  • Cyber Security

We offer flexible opportunities to fit your schedule:

  • Part-time positions teaching 1-2 courses per semester.
  • Schedule variety, with daytime, evening, and online courses available to accommodate your preferences.
  • A maximum of 3 days per week to ensure work-life balance.

Essential Qualifications include:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cyber Security or a closely related field.
  • Teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse student population.
  • Passion for sharing knowledge.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student success.
  • Experience with BrightSpace LMS preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to support and promote the Franciscan Felician core values and mission of the University.
