Responsibilities:

As a member of our Math Department faculty, you will have the opportunity to:

• Teach all levels of the undergraduate curriculum-
• Mentor and advise students on their academic and career goals
• Engage in scholarly research and contribute to the field of mathematics
• Participate in departmental and university-wide committee work
• Provide service to the university and the community

The Math Department aims to be flexible in servicing the needs of each cohort of mathematics majors. We have a commitment to training future high school and middle school teachers. Our faculty also collaborate with others to provide support courses for students majoring in education, healthcare, business, psychology, and athletic training. In addition, we support the general education program.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field- preferred – Masters or ABDs will be considered
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the collegiate level
• A strong commitment to student success and a passion for teaching
• Comfortable with digital technology to enhance student engagement.
