Position Summary:
The Sigmund Weis School of Business (SWSB) of Susquehanna University seeks applicants for the position of Lecturer of Finance. This is a full-time position beginning in fall 2025. Undergraduate teaching includes multiple finance courses and possibly other courses based on the candidate’s qualifications and interests. Additional responsibilities include advising students, and service within the Business School and across the University.

Required Qualifications:
A masters degree in business, finance, or a related field. A work record that illustrates significant experience in finance, banking, or a related field. This candidate will be expected to interact openly and inspire students through their teaching strategies which demonstrates a high level of organization and communication. Other required qualifications include:

  • Ability to teach an Introductory Corporate Finance class to all majors in the SWSB.
  • Ability to teach multiple upper-level Finance courses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Has CFA Affiliation and/or CFP certification
  • Ability to teach courses in introductory data analytics, real estate, risk management, or management
