The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of New Hampshire seeks an energetic and innovative teacher-scholar, committed to excellence in engineering education and capable of teaching across engineering disciplines. This interdisciplinary educator would join our dedicated family of faculty members in the area of general mechanics of fluids including both analysis and design as well as programming for engineers to support programs in civil, environmental, chemical, and/or mechanical engineering.
The lecturer position is non-tenure track but offers the potential for employment security with multi-year appointments.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Teach and develop curriculum for nominally five or six courses per year, including both undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Teach core undergraduate engineering fluid mechanics, programming / applied mathematics courses, experimental methods and data analysis, as well as senior and advanced technical electives in fluid flows.
- Responsible for student advising, department service, and outreach to professional and alumni constituents.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
- Ph.D. or an M.S. in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
