Job Summary
The Management Department in the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University is seeking applications for a a full-time, non tenure-track Assistant College Lecturer of Sports Management beginning August 18, 2025.
This position is expected to teach 24 credit hours (onsite, off-site, and online) per academic year at the Undergraduate and/or Graduate levels and participate in department and college service activities.
The Management department employs 16 full-time faculty and offers coursework at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. Our department is housed within the Monte Ahuja College of Business. The college employs 73 full-time faculty members. All programs are AACSB accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Enrollment exceeds 2,700 students, and the degrees we offer include: MIS, MBA, MHRM, MAcc, MSPM, MHCM, BA, BBA, BS, and a joint MBA-JD.

- Master’s degree in a closely related field to Management;
- Prior experience teaching Management courses;
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Terminal degree in a closely related field to Sport Management;
- Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives;
- Ability to teach in multiple areas of Management including Sport Management;
- Professional certification.
