Organizational Unit Overview:
Job Duties:
The School of Communication invites applications for a fixed-term temporary position in Communication. Primary responsibilities include: teaching existing graduate and undergraduate courses in Communication. Candidate will teach courses that support the undergraduate interpersonal/organizational concentration and public relations concentration. Candidate should also be able to contribute to teaching core courses in the strategic communication graduate program.
Contingent upon available funding.
Minimum Education/Experience:
A Masters degree or higher and 18 graduate-level credit hours in Communication or related field is required for appointment as Teaching Instructor. In addition to the requirements for Teaching Instructor, a PhD in Communication or related field and 2 years of experience is required for consideration for appointment as Teaching Assistant Professor or Teaching Associate Professor.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation:

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Preferred teaching qualifications include the ability to teach undergrad and graduate COMM courses, with a focus in IOC and Public Relations.
