Bridgewater College seeks an engaged professional to advise students in all matters of career and professional development; assist in the planning and implementation of Center for Career Development (CCD) programming; and serve as the primary administrator of career services’ technology systems, providing leadership and expertise in data collection, management, and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reporting to the Director of the Center for Career Development, the Assistant Director of Career Development and Technologies manages the Center website and technology, including but not limited to Handshake, PathwayU, Canvas, Docuware, and WordPress.
  • The Assistant Director manages all CCD social media platforms and marketing efforts, including supervising student assistants as they create social media posts and marketing materials
  • The Assistant Director oversees all CCD data implementation, analysis, and reporting, including but not limited to the First Destination Survey, Canvas internship courses, Qualtrics surveys, and annual assessment reports.
  • The Assistant Director coordinates and assists students in locating and securing both credited and non- credited internships, manages course registration, monitors student progress, and communicates with participants both on and off campus.
  • Assists in supervising all CCD student employees and event volunteers; tracks and coordinates Paycom accounts for all student employees.
  • Participates in the creation, facilitation, and implementation of CCD programming, including but not limited to: first-year seminar modules; workshops, events and other programs.
  • Hosts regular office hours and take appointments with students, ex: career coaching, resume and cover letter reviews, etc.
  • Performs additional duties as requested or needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of work experience in a college/university setting, with career-services or technology-management experience preferred. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media software required.
  • Working knowledge of webpage development and maintenance, database development and management, and CRM/Learning Management System software.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work with a team required.
  • Demonstrated success working with a culturally diverse community of students and staff required.
  • Above average interpersonal skills and experience working with and presenting to diverse audiences required.
  • Effective communication across multiple mediums and a wide variety of audiences required.

Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
