Job Description:

The Department of Physical Therapy at Russell Sage College invites applications for a full-time faculty, 10-month Professor of Practice position at the level of Assistant Professor within the CAPTE-accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program effective Fall Semester 2025.

The estimated base academic year salary range for this position is $59,000- $64,000, commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a physical therapist with an academic doctoral degree (DPT, PhD, EdD, DSc) and be eligible for physical therapy licensure in the state of New York. Biomechanics expertise is preferred.

Additional requirements include, evidence of teaching, research and service that promotes educational and clinical excellence and cultivates a learner-centered environment; minimum of five years in the field of physical therapy, including documented clinical practice as a licensed physical therapist; and strong technology skills, including MS Office, Excel, and educational platforms that enhance student learning.
